Tayo Akinokun is the Senior Vice President – Global GeoZones for the Oilfield Services & Equipment segment at Baker Hughes. Based in the company's global headquarters in Houston, Texas, Tayo is responsible for overseeing global geographies.  

With over 34 years in the energy technology industry, Tayo has held multiple senior executive leadership positions across the world and lived in several countries on four continents, namely Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the United States. Over  the last three decades, Tayo has managed several large operations and teams at various levels of leadership. He has also mentored and helped develop the careers of young professionals throughout the organization and the world.  

A strong advocate for cultural diversity, Tayo's extensive travels and global assignments have shaped his commitment to fostering inclusive environments. Prior to his current role, he was the Senior Vice President of Completions, Intervention & Measurements, based in Houston, Texas. Between 2019 and 2022, he served as the Vice President responsible for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Middle East, North Africa, Turkey, and India region.
